The San Juan Health Council (SJHC) serves as the comprehensive health council for San Juan County. The health council is composed of individual citizens, groups, service providers, and other agencies committed to improving the overall health of San Juan County.
SJHC works to address health issues through many avenues. The Positive Wellness Campaign highlights good work being done in the community and shares that information through local media outlets. To see the current and past Positive Wellness Campaign features visit https://www.youtube.com/c/KSJEFM
SJHC chooses focus areas around current health issues to work on throughout the year. Current priority areas for this year include Access to Health and Health Equity.
Meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. They are held the third Thursday of each month at 3 pm.
